The new 2019 Ram 1500 should prove roomy for passengers in both rows, and still maintain plenty of cargo space. A split tailgate option and the innovative Ram Box – additional cargo space in both sides of the bed – are expected to assist loading and hauling as well.
Ram trucks make up a huge profit-center for FCA. Through the first seven months of 2017, sales of the Ram 1500-3500 have increased by 6.3 percent to more than 290,000 vehicles compared with the same period in 2016, according to industry research firm Autodata Corp.
